BE BLESSED...TODAY...TOMORROW...FOREVER!!!

My life from infancy to the point of becoming saved was positive. I happily grew up in a loving home with wonderful parents and loving sisters. My father was--and still is--the pastor of my church, in addition to working for an international production company. My mom worked in the military, but placed her role as mother and wife FIRST. My sisters were simply the best sisters I could ever ask for.

I was surrounded by the Word of God on a daily basis. Whether it was spoken by my parents, played on the radio or television, given at church or at my Christian school--I heard the Word, okay! J And I loved it! I was also heavily active in church--faithfully attending every Sunday, playing the piano for the youth choir, participating in various programs, etc… I was surrounded by God.

But one Sunday as I sat in church listening to the sermon I felt a warm, glowing feeling inside of me. I heard the pastor speak words of Christ and words of salvation. I also heard the voice of God saying receive Jesus Christ. I wanted it. But like most children I was scared to walk down the church aisle in front of others--especially my friends. After a few weeks of hesitation (and beating myself up), God placed the strongest, burning desire in me to do it. And I did. I walked down the aisle and publicly received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. A few Sundays later I became baptized--and man what a feeling!

As I reflect over my childhood, for the most part I must say, it was very positive. But what gain did having a positive life give me? It may have given me earthly benefits, but what if I had I died before becoming saved? As a child I thought about that--dying before receiving Christ.

Each day that I refused the opportunity of receiving Jesus was a day that I could have died without Him in my life. But my refusal of accepting Christ did not stop me from committing sin. My parents describe me as a good child but I lied, was disobedient, had jealousy, said harmful things to others, was selfish, arrogant, had pride…on and on. Simply and honestly put, I sinned and was a sinner. My sin separated me from God, When I refused to receive Jesus Christ--the bridge that would bring me to God--I was in danger of an eternity of hell fire. I was good while living on earth, but I would not have been good enough to live in heaven. In a way God pointed that out to me the day I became saved.

I praise God because he has saved me through the death, burial, and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ. I also praise God that you have this wonderful opportunity to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of your life. If you know you are a sinner…if you want to become cleansed from your sins…if you believe in John 3:16 and Romans 10:9-13...if you are ready to accept Jesus Christ into your life…friend, don’t hesitate. Do it today!

Let's talk with God shall we: Dear Father, You are truly amazing. Your awesomeness cannot be compared to anyone or anything else. You desire that all men praise You and right now God I give You all of the honor, praise, and glory. High praise is given to You. Father, we ask for Your forgivenss for the sins we have committed. Sins that we have purposely committed and sins that we have unknowingly committed. We ask that You forgive us--that You take them away from us--remember them no more God--wash us clean--make us whiter than snow--empower us through the Holy Spirit to turn away from those sins--and make us better for You, Father God. Jesus Christ, I thank You for shedding Your blood on the cross so that we can be cleansed from our sin. I thank You for all that You have done. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Magnanimous Monday

Hey Everybody!

Let's get down to the good stuff: Father God, I thank You for this beautiful day that You have created! You are great and marvelous to behold. I thank You for Your presence in heaven, here on earth, in my life, and in the lives of others. May we be bold witnesses for You, God. As we witness to others, I thank You in advance for the words You will give to us, through the Holy Spirit. May we be willing vesseles to be used by You. I pray for the salvation of many today. Bless those who read this prayer. Keep them in Your protective arms and cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I tell you friends as I visit other blogspots, I am amazed to read the comments written by those who are not saved (atheists in particular) and those who were Christians, but now worship a different god. I have commented on some of those sites and the responses I receive are mixed. One person wrote back saying he sees some of the points I've made about Jesus and asked me to explain why I believe in God. Other's write back cursing and mocking God and Jesus. It's upsetting to read, but I do know that some people will willfully choose not to believe in God or Christ. It's their choice. But just to know they are foolishly choosing to spend eternity in hell is, well, sad. God does not want us to argue His word, and I have sense enought to know when to stop corresponding with someone whose heart is heartened to the Word. But I will also continue to spread the Good News through my blogspot!!! Definitely!!! :-)

My sister from South Carolina came home this weekend to attend a wedding. We both went to church yesterday and wheeewwwww... it was AWESOME!!! Good fellowship...good singing, GREAT PREACHING, and we had communion. After my church service, I along with fellow usher board members went to a second program at another church to help their usher board celebrate their anniversary. The service was good, but I got a little sleepy. I'm being honest...confession is good release. The preacher spoke about the responsibilities of being a good usher. I took good mental notes as I take my duty seriously. I'm not worried about forgetting what he said--our Chief Usher was present and I know she will definitely remind us of what we are to do! We love our Chief Usher...she's the BEST! ;-)

Well...work begins shortly. Oh, by the way, my blog title for today came from a fellow blogger from the United Kingdom. She decided to name today Magnanimous Monday. Following her lead, I decided to make today just that! :-) Thanks NJ Doras!

"WITNESSING PROJECT"

Hi Friends,

It has been a longggggg time since we last talked and man have I missed talking and praying with you. Many exciting things that have kept me extremely busy have happened. But first things first--let's pray.

Dear God, thank You for being an awesome Father. You love your children better than any natural parent could ever love their child. Daily, You provide life, protection, comfort, health, knowledge, wealth, food, clothing, shelter, everything we need. You are faithful to us God...more faithful than we are to ourselves and to our fellow man. Father God, continue to hold Israel in Your strong, mighty arms. You instruct us to pray for the peace of Jersulem that peace be within her walls--may this peace be granted today. God continue to bless all who read this prayer--grant them their desires that are in line with Your Word and Will for their lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Friends, I enjoy praying for you and WITH you...when two or more agree it happens...Praise God!

"WITNESSING PROJECT": Want to lead others to Jesus Christ? Try this: Ask someone you know, "If you died tonight, would you go to heaven?" Watch that person's response and listen to what they have to say. Some people may want to discuss their sins, others may not respond at all. You may lead someone to accept Jesus Christ or you may get cursed out. (Rebuke those words in Jesus' name...DON'T RECEIVE THEM.) Some may not respond at all. Either way, it is your opportunity to witness to someone you know. Hopefully, through the Holy Spirit, you will lead others to Jesus Christ.

WORD TO THE WISE--be prayed up, have scriptures on-hand or in your mind, be a good listener, be prepared for rejection or rude responses, have a salvation prayer, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS use caution and Godly-wisdom when approaching someone. It is your personal choice to talk with someone you don't know, but remember your safety is first and foremost.

Remember: You must be saved yourself if you want to lead others to Jesus Christ. So, if you are not saved, I'll make you my "Witnessing Project". If you died tonight, would you go to heaven? Heaven is a beautiful place where God lives with Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, angels, and other people who have died, but are saved. Those who are saved have accepted Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ will be yours--because He died just for you!!! He died because he knew that one day you would commit a sin.

Have you ever told a lie, cheated on a test, hated someone, took something without permission, committed murder, or kissed someone elses spouse in a sexual way? Those things are different forms of sin and we commit them every day. Sin seperates you from God and keeps you from living in Heaven. Think about it...sin is like mud...God is ALWAYS clean...He is spotless...Heaven is spotless too. God will not look at mud nor allow mud to enter into His clean home. Would you want a muddy person to give you a hug while you are dressed in your white shirt and pants? Would you want a muddy person to sit on your white sofa? No, oh no! The sins that you have committed have made you muddy. But Jesus Christ will make you--your heart--white as snow and clean, baby clean.

When you accept Jesus Christ into your heart...when you believe He is the Son of God..when you believe He died just for you...when you want to make Him your Savior...when you accept Jesus Christ into your heart...you will become clean! Jesus will immediately make you spotless and when you die you will be able to live in Heaven.

Say this prayer: Father God, I know I am a sinner. I have done things that You did not like. I am sorry for doing those things. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died to save me from my sin. I believe Jesus lives in Heaven with You. God I want to live in Heaven too. Jesus, come into my life and into my heart. I believe I am saved. Thank You God for saving me. In Jesus name, Amen.

It's just that easy. YOU ARE NOW SAVED AND HAVE JESUS CHRIST. Feel good don't you?Now get a Bible and read it each day. (What you read is up to you. Ask God and He will tell you what to read. Contact me if you need a Bible and I will make sure you receive it.) Talk to God by praying to Him each day. If you don't have a church home, find one that teaches from the Bible and tell the pastor that you just got saved. If you ALREADY attend a church tell your pastor. Your next step is to be baptized and the pastor will help you with this. Friend, spread the good news that you are saved!!!

Hey Peeps,

I pray all is well with everyone and that your week as been ALL YOU WANT IT TO BE!!! If it hasn't been so far, SPEAK A WORD INTO YOU SITUATION, and watch God move!!! HE'S AMAZING!!!

Well..time for prayer. Father God, I thank You for being a solution for every situation. Whether it's a good situation or a bad one, God I know You are there through it all. Most of all God I thank You because You have worked out the solution to the situation even before the situation happens. You are truly amazing God. I pray others will look to You when they are going through a positive or negative situation. Bless my friends who are reading this prayer. Show them that if they follow Your words and commandments, they will become a conqueror during any situation. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

It has been a while since I wrote. We are having Vacation Bible School (VBS) at my church. Our theme is "Trading Places--Where Jesus Makes A World of Difference". The concept is to journey through five different world destinations to learn about Biblical people who have traded one role in life for a new, higher role...one that brings service to the Lord. The VBS publisher chose Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, Poland, and China for exploration. Each day has a different theme: Be Loyal (Monday), Be Real (Tuesday), Be Brave (Wednesday), Be Ready (Thursday), and Be Changed (Friday). For example: Monday the kids learned about Ruth and how she traded isolation to become loyal to her mother-in-law. The kids are supposed to use Ruth as an example of how they can be loyal--not unfaithful or distant--to their family, friends, classmates, etc. GET THE EXCITING POINT???!!! Mexico is just an "enhancer" to make the lesson pleasurable. (One class got to eat GREAT Mexican food).

Everyone...from children--to young adults--to adults...are enjoying themselves!!! :-) Attendance has been high, the mood is festive, and learning is shared. People are viewing Jesus in a new light. They can see how they can actively apply these topic points into their lives and truly live daily for Him. COOOOOL!!!! LOL! :-)

What Will Your Week Be Like?

I can't chat long but today is the start to a MARVELOUS week!!! I know what today, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be like because I have spoken a powerful, positive word about this week. Rather than dwell on things that could go wrong or look at the week in a negative light, I'll talk about the positives. (Hint: If you believe or vocally profess that things will be bad, guess what will happen?) So friends, don't say, "Today is a typical 'back to work' Monday", change that word baby and say, "Today is MARVELOUS MONDAY!!!" Create your own positive phrases for the rest of the week--let me know what your phrases are, okay!!! :-)

SPEAK POSITIVE WORDS ALRIGHT!!! SPEAK POSITIVE WORDS!!! WORD!!! YEAHHH!!!

Speaking of positive words...lets get down to business!!! Father God, I pray for the success of those who are reading this prayer. I pray that their week will hold eternal Salvation, guidance, safety, productivity, creativity, security, and gain--all led by You God. In the name of Jesus, I speak health, healing, wellness, wholeness, prosperity, into their lives. May the readers, dear Lord, be bold witnesses for You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

By the way, church was "OFF THE CHAIN" yesterday!!! From the beginning of service, the church family was filled with the Holy Spirit and ushered Him into the building through prayer and song. AND MAN PEOPLE, Praise God, He was definitely present during the sermon!!! Check out Deuteronomy 5: 1-21 and Psalm 119: 141-145, 160. We were hungry for the WORD OF GOD!!! and boy GOD FED US! I'm stuffed!!! But I want to share the spiritual food with you so you can be full too!! To sum up the message...obey God's Commandments, love your fellow man, and fight to keep the Ten Commandments displayed in schools and public buildings. Do it baby!!! :-)

Sunday Morning, Sunday Morning...

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW...PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!! :-)

Please join me as I talk with God...Father God up in heaven, I bless and praise Your Holy name. Your mercies are everlasting and Your truth endures through all generations. I love You God. I thank You for loving us. I thank You God...You are the same today July 9, 2006 just as You are the same when You...well since the beginning of time. I just can't praise You enough.

I pray for the salvation of many today. Father God, I pray for churches everwhere--churches that preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ--churches that preach Your Word. May they thrive under Your guidance. May they gain in every area--spiritual, physical, membership size, worship, financial--in areas those churches are praying and working towards, as well as, areas they could never imagine. I include my church in this prayer as well. Father God, bless pastors, bishops, ministers, teachers, officers, congregations, attendees everywhere. God heal the sick. God bring wealth to the poor. God give strength to the abused. God bless Israel--may peace be within the walls of Jerusalem. God lift up the United States of America, President George Bush, and citizens everywhere.. In the Mighty, Matchless, Magnificant, Marvelous, and Miraculous name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Man people...yesterday my husband and I ate the best ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. Mmmmm...I ENJOY COLD STONE! It was perfect on a hot, no...HOT summer's day. :-)

I told you yesterday would be a lazy one for me. The only thing we did was eat breakfast with a good family friend, left conference postcard flyers at 30 churches (only took two hours to do), and ate at Cold Stone Creamery! COLD STONE!!!! BURRRRR!!! LOL! We were out for about five hours. But we spent the rest of the time DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! HA, HA!!! Sometimes doing nothing is beautiful!!! :-)

Okay peeps, I need to go wash my hair!!! Church is in a few hours!!! You go to yours and I'll go to mine, okay!!! ;-)

Today Is Absolutely FABULOUS!!!

Hey everybody!!! How is it going? Fabulous I hope!!! :-)

First thing first, my talk with God. Father God, You are sweet and beautiful to behold. I thank You for Your grace and mercy--all praise is given to You. Father God, Your excellence is high. You are wiser than humans and Your thoughs are not like ours. I praise You for Your wisdom. I pray spiritual wisdom for those who are reading this prayer--may their day be ordered and sanctioned by You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Mmmmmm...thanks God! Talking with You is better than drinking a cup of warm coffee!!! So REFRESHING and SATISFYING!!! :-)

Success Story!!! The girlfriend that I was telling you about yesterday--the one with the upcoming women's conference--emailed me last night to say a gentleman called her "out of the blue" and said he would purchase ANY remaining event sales tickets. We were praying for successful ticket sales, but LOOK AT GOD...A SOLD OUT CONFERENCE!!! :-) He will buy over 240 tickets. And get this, he told my girlfriend to GIVE AWAY the tickets he buys. WOOOOOOW!!! My friend-girl has experenced blessings and favor from theLord the entire time she has worked on this conference. PRAISE HIM!!! So many "doors of opportunity" have been opened to her--doors she was able to access (event venue) and doors unexpectedly opening (the man buying so many tickets). To borrow a phrase from her, she is absolutely BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED!!! But she gives all the credit to God...and I do too! My girlfriend has said that she wants to be a blessing to others by giving those tickets to women who are in need. What an unselfish act on her part!!! GO GIRLFRIEND ;-)

I love Saturdays don't you??? And I think today will be a LAZY one for me. I'm going to lounge and relax most of the day. :-) Later, I'll pass out conference flyers. They have been well received by people I've given them to.

How many of you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior??? By receiving Jesus Christ you will receive FANTASTIC benefits--ETERNAL LIFE!--SOUL SALVATION!--VICTORY OVER ETERNAL DEATH!, A HOME IN HEAVEN!--PEACE!--JOY!--LOVE!--I COULD GO ON AND ON. Read Romans 10: 9-10 then say this prayer...it's simple: God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I know He is Your son. I know He died for my sin. I know He is alive and is with You in heaven. God, I have done things You did not want me to do. I am a sinner. Jesus come into my life and heart. Be my Savior. God I receive Your forgiveness. Thank You God, I am saved. In Jesus' name, Amen.

First my talk with God...join me if you like! Dear God, thank You for Your divine grace and mercy that covered me and my family as we slept last night. I pray for Your loving favor as we go throughout the day today. Father God heal the sick, bless the poor, care for the homeless, and cover individuals in nursing homes. I thank You God for hearing me today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It's great to be alive today isn't it!!! The Lord is good. In fact, we have a saying that is so popular, I'll shout it now...GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!! WHOOOOO!!!

Okay God, let's talk. Father God, I worship and praise Your Holy Name. You are so loving, gracious, and merciful to everyone. God, despite all of the wrong we have done to You and to mankind, You are still giving us Your favor and love. We bless and praise You God.

Please touch each and everyone who reads this prayer. Let them know right now that You love them. I pray for those who have not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Today, I pray that they do. Blessings and favor to those who are covered under the blood of Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.

MAN THAT FELT GOOD!!! :-) LOL! Today besides going to work, I will help a friend publicize her upcoming women's conference. Dynamic speakers will motivate and encourage women to possess a "millionaire's mentality"--one that will help them accomplish their dreams and life goals. I'm working for my millions...how about you? $$$$$$

By the way...my husband and I have a new four-week old kitten. He found her (we think it's a girl) at his job. In the midst of hundreds of log trucks and moving automobiles there she was. LOOK AT GOD!!! She didn't have a scratch on her--she was hungry--but not a scratch. We have cared for her for about a week. The vet told us what to do. We bottle feed her (enjoy doing that) and help her urinate and have BMs (don't enjoy)! LOL! But she is a joy. Hit me back with any advice for caring for a kitten.

Waking Up

Good Morning!!!

Are you STUFFED or what??? The Fourth of July cooking was "OFF THE CHAIN!!! :-) Bar-b-que chicken and ribs, hash, rice, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, lemonaid, tea, dessert... man I'm feeling full from thinking about it. And the fireworks were "SLAMMING"!!! But why couldn't we have Monday off from work like yesterday? Thanks to everyone who responded to my post. BIG POST PROPS to ya!!! LOL!!!

Remember to start your day off right and talk to God. I'm saying, "Father God, thank you for waking me up this morning. I praise You for Your Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, my Comforter. You are an awesome and great God. In the name of Jesus, I thank You in advance for Your safe traveling grace, as well as, protection from things I may see and things I may not see as I go throughout my day. Forgive me of my sins. I thank You for Your forgiveness. Bless those who pray this prayer with me. Father God, if it is Your desire for them, grant them the desires of their heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Want to make your own fireworks today? Try this. Walk up to someone you know...or someone you don't..and tell them God loves them and Jesus does too!!! :-) Watch the FIRE within them!!! Some people may BURST with excitement!!! Some may POP a question to ya!!! Others may FIZZLE and walk away. :-(

Either way you have it, you will have worked for the Lord. GREAT!!! Who knows, someone may want to know more about Jesus Christ and God. Write me back and let me know what happens!
